How this site is written and reviewed
Guides are written against primary sources, reviewed by a named person with relevant qualifications, and dated.
Everything explanatory on this site starts from a primary source: legislation, HMRC guidance, HM Courts and Tribunals Service, or the SRA's own rules. Where a page states a figure, the page says where the figure came from and when it was checked.
Nothing about probate law or tax is published without review by a named person with relevant professional qualifications, and their name, role and credentials appear on the page and on their own author page.
Pages are dated with both when they were published and when they were last reviewed. A page that has not been reviewed since the rules changed is a page we have not maintained, and hiding that would be the point at which this stopped being useful.
