Where these prices come from
Since December 2018 every firm regulated by the SRA that does probate work has had to publish its prices. Those pages are public, and they are the only prices on this site: we do not ask firms what they charge, and no firm pays to appear here or to appear higher up. Each price links to the page it was read from, with the date, and the firm's own wording sits beside it.
The dataset is available as JSON under CC BY 4.0, which covers the fee records and their arrangement. The wording quoted from each firm's page remains that firm's own.
